Girls want to control the man in their life.
GROWN women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling. This is Me!
Girls check you constantly for not calling them.
GROWN women are usually too busy to realize you hadn't. Not too sure about this one..I'm forever checking my cellphone.
Girls are afraid to be alone.
GROWN women are not. They use this as a time for personal growth. I don't like being alone if I know the people I live with aren't home that night.
Girls ignore the good guys.
GROWN women ignore the bad guys. Bad Boys are always a temptation but when you find Mr. Right you'll want to ignore the bad guys.
Girls make you come home.
GROWN women make you want to come home.
Girls fight other females claiming "you took my man".
GROWN women know that he isn't worth the trouble & no one can "take"
anyone, he chose to leave!
Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and
make plans.
GROWN women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in
where he fits.
Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.
GROWN women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man,
flaws & all! - My man loves me for who and what I am and wouldn't change me for the world! I'd change a few things about me though.
Girls try to monopolize all their man's time(i.e., don't want him
hanging with his friends).
GROWN women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time
'even more special- and goes to kick it with her own friends. - We often see his friends together, but he has his man time with his friends and I have my girlie time with my girlfriends too.
Girls think a guy crying is weak.
GROWN women offer their shoulder and a tissue while understanding that
he's still human. - I like a Man to show emotion - it does prove that he is human!
Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.
GROWN women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to splurge on
her, without fear of losing his 'manhood'. - A spontaneous man is always good to have.
Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.
GROWN women know that HE was just one man (and know that if they stop
shopping in the same store, they will stop picking the same man). True. It's happened to me and I've learnt from the past by finding the one I want to be with.
Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, IGNORING all 'signs'.
GROWN women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you
back-and know they must move on, without bitterness.
Girls will read this and unwisely get an attitude.
GROWN women will read this and pass it on to other GROWN women and
their male friends. Hmmm yes maybe.
